Selecting a great domain name is the first step to achieving a successful business. Here are some things to keep in mind when searching for available domain names:
- for a commercial business always purchase a .com address
- view the content on sites that have similar names and make sure your customers won't mistakenly end up on a site with offensive or innappropriate content
- do not use hyphens in your domain name
- do not misspell words
- do not use numbers if they sound the same as common words such as: 2, two, to, too
